i was wondering when it was gonna end
everything fell around
like leaves in autumn
spinnin’ ‘round
up and down
a pause to breathe
inhale and release
pressures all too strong
learn to move along
fall into the sweetest song
with the saddest chords
yeah, can’t we all sing along?
try to wish it all away
but the truth comes to stay
with eyes not to see, only tear
i can’t hold what i’ve held in for years
it crept around so long
now releasing a stench too strong
to hide from anyone able to breathe
with the spotlight on me
i’m unable to leave
unable to grieve
i won’t allow myself to believe
that i am human too
with flaws to share
let their eyes stare
as i swallow something
as red as blood
and spit out the unjust of love
spewing thoughts they can feel within
but only let boil underneath their skin
words so intense their eyes wander
but their ears and skin stay erect
and so their bodies absorb something
they too will never forget
