“what’s your name, wait don’t tell me”

so we meet again, on these streets of the present… on the intersection of past avenue and future boulevard… the last i saw you were in the midst of a big change… we’ve all gotta make room for change… don’t you remember me, i swear you knew my name… i learned more about you than i should’ve… but i never got the chance to know you personally… not that i didn’t try… it was in fact an inevitable goodbye… you had things you had to deal with that i some day may encounter… it was a strain for you, but you kept going… it was a pain in your life, when you were forced to confront what was showing… in your eyes, in your life, the chaos kept growing… what has happened since?… did you ever find your prince?… you know the guy on the white horse that’s supposed to rescue you?… was he right on cue, did he play games with you?… whatever the outcome i know you’ll make it through… with your heart of stone and the look in your eyes that says: “i ain’t nobody’s fool!”… i remember you as a small porcelain doll, but as tough as nails… not so much an enigma, but a struggling female… an inspiration in my life ‘cause through it all you came out on top… and in the game of life you were thrown quite a curve ball, but you never let it drop… but now i’ve gotta get going and believe me i wish you the best… keep your head up, your heart strong and may god bless…..
